Our property has completed the Green Certification Class for Montgomery County. Just like our symbol of the “Green Apple,” the Home2 Suites by Hilton Clarksville/Ft. Campbell is committed to helping Montgomery County stay healthy and green. The green apple is fresh and vibrant and is a reminder of the hotel’s dedication to sustainability. Some examples of our sustainable elements are easy to see, while others are present in places you’d probably never notice. Some examples are: Our Pool: Our outdoor pool is saline-based, and we maintain the pools using natural minerals instead of chemicals. Our Recycling: We reduce waste on property with convenient recycling stations located in the Oasis lobby, each floor of the hotel, and recycling containers in every suite. Our Kitchen: We only use Energy Star rated appliances in our guest rooms to reduce energy and water. We serve breakfast on real china so that we do not add plastic plates and utensils to the landfills. We serve our coffee in recycled paper cups. Also containers in the breakfast areas are made of recycled glass and renewable bamboo. Our Building: The Home2 Suites hotel is constructed out of eco-friendly materials. Our carpeting is made out of 65% recycled material. The countertops in the Oasis are made out of 85% pre-recycled and 100% post-recycled content. The landscaping around our hotel includes indigenous-only plants, which significantly minimizes water usage and irrigation needs. Our Guest Rooms: Instead of travel-sized bottles that generate extra waste, you'll find tamper-proof bulk bath amenities in our guest bathrooms. Also, our dual flush toilets use 20% less water than traditional toilets. Our Humanscale desk chair is made of 98% recycled product. We are passionate about sustainability and protecting the earth. We will continue to monitor new ways that we can stay green, and include our findings in our daily staff huddles. Our entire staff is dedicated to making this world a little better, one step at a time.
